At the height of WFH (work/learn from home), I spent much time observing my living space and documenting quirks related to subtle everyday actions. In February 2021, I set out to create a series of drawings that build a cumulative composition describing the transformation of my living space over nine weeks. The drawing, together and in parts, explores the tension between objects and how they coexist. A cup of tea, for example, rests on the dining table; its position is determined by other objects in the tablescape and vice versa. The position of the cup informs the placement of different objects, in this case, an open notebook.
