Reflecting Rudolph

2019

Reflection
This site-specific installation is a continuation of a material case study on plastics and the potential of reflection, color, and transparency in an existing unique condition. Sited at the Loria entrance lobby, the installation mimics the texture of Rudolph Hall’s iconic bush-hammered walls. Here, they remained unchiseled due to the removal of an adjoining building during the renovation. The intervention aims to create a new light interaction in the space and increase human interaction with Rudolph Hall's wallscape through reflection.
